College of Engineering Postdoc Pool 2026

The Samuel Ginn College of Engineering is seeking candidates for a postdoctoral fellow position in engineering. Positions are available under various research grants and projects, focusing on areas such as aerospace, chemical, civil and environmental, computer science and software, electrical and computer, industrial and systems, mechanical engineering, and related fields like microelectronics, automotive electronics, microfibers, highway research, materials, asphalt technology, pulp and paper, chemistry, transportation, detection, food safety, and information technology. These positions are full-time 12-month appointments, renewable up to four years, with salaries commensurate with qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to research and/or teaching, depending on the needs of the position.

Qualifications

• PhD in engineering or a related field at the time employment begins.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English.
