About the Role
The Post Award Accountant will comprehensively manage a portfolio of sponsored awards to ensure fiscal integrity and compliance with award, sponsor, institutional, and regulatory requirements. Provide guidance and technical assistance to Principal Investigators and departments throughout the post-award lifecycle.

- Provide guidance and technical assistance to Principal Investigators and departments throughout the post-award lifecycle.
Requirements
- Knowledge of the principles, practices, theories, and terminology of accounting, budgeting, and fiscal management.
- Knowledge of, or demonstrated ability to understand and research, the principles of grant management and reporting.
- Knowledge of federal and state fiscal accounting processes.
- Ability to analyze and interpret complex financial data, reports, and contract terms and conditions.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others.
- Ability to communicate effectively.
Preferred Qualifications
- PeopleSoft or other ERP experience.
- Higher education experience.
- Sponsored award and/or contract accounting experience.
