Job Overview
Pay Range: $45/hr - $50/hr
Responsibilities
- Install, configure, maintain, and support POS hardware and software systems.
- Troubleshoot and repair POS registers and terminals, receipt and label printers, monitors and customer-facing displays, EMV/chip and contactless payment devices, and cash drawers and peripheral equipment.
- Diagnose and resolve network connectivity issues involving POS environments, including LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP.
- Support and maintain Microsoft Dynamics 365 and/or Square POS environments.
- Perform hardware upgrades, replacements, and preventive maintenance.
- Document incidents, solutions, and system changes accurately.
- Collaborate with business users, vendors, and internal support teams to resolve technical issues.
- Maintain a high level of responsiveness and professionalism when supporting critical business operations.
- Participate in off-hours support, maintenance windows, and on-call rotations as required.
Nice to Have
- Experience supporting Microsoft Dynamics 365 Commerce, Dynamics 365 Retail, and/or Square POS solutions.
Requirements
- 1+ years of hands-on experience supporting POS registers, printers, monitors, EMV payment devices, and related peripherals.
- Strong understanding of networking fundamentals including TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, VLANs, wired and wireless connectivity.
- Customer-centric mindset with excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to perform under pressure, support off-hours operations, prioritize competing tasks, and collaborate effectively within a team environment.
