Key Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end oversight of multiple concurrent projects, ensuring alignment with organizational priorities and measurable business outcomes.
- Collaborate closely with clients to prioritize initiatives based on value, resources, and risk, maintaining clarity and momentum in a dynamic environment.
- Establish and enforce standardized processes for project intake, tracking, and execution.
- Maintain transparency and accountability across the portfolio, managing resource allocation to support strategic and operational needs.
- Build trusted relationships with client stakeholders, partners, and delivery teams.
- Lead regular portfolio review sessions, facilitate decision-making, and communicate progress clearly and effectively across all levels.
- Guide Program Managers in developing detailed project plans, ensuring scope, schedules, and resources are effectively managed.
- Proactively identify and mitigate risks, removing obstacles to keep programs on track, on time, and within budget.
- Oversee financial aspects of the portfolio, including revenue forecasting, margin optimization, utilization, and backlog management to maximize profitability.
- Develop insightful dashboards and reports that provide real-time visibility into portfolio health.
- Drive continuous process improvements to enhance delivery quality, operational efficiency, and stakeholder satisfaction.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Engineering, or related fields; Advanced degrees or MBA preferred.
- Certifications such as PMP, PgMP, Agile, SAFe, or ITIL are a plus.
- 10+ years of experience in program or project management, with at least 5 years leading large-scale IT or infrastructure programs, preferably in Professional Services or Managed Services.
- Demonstrated leadership skills, strategic vision, and success managing diverse, multidisciplinary teams.
- Strong financial acumen with experience in budgeting, forecasting, and managing multimillion-dollar programs.
- Excellent communication skills—able to convey complex ideas clearly and persuasively to varied audiences.
- Proficiency with project management and analytics tools such as MS Project, Power BI, or Smartsheet.
- High emotional intelligence, conflict resolution skills, and a collaborative approach to leadership.
