Portfolio Manager Senior

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Portfolio Manager to support a commercial and middle market team onsite. In this role, you will lead loan analysis, underwriting, origination, and portfolio management for a growing client base, including both C&I and real estate borrowers.

Responsibilities

• Lead loan analysis, underwriting, origination, and portfolio management for C&I and real estate borrowers
• Perform risk assessment and loan structuring
• Ensure compliance with risk grading methodologies and credit policies
• Collaborate with Relationship Managers to develop lending proposals and identify cross‑sell opportunities
• Manage client relationships
• Oversee post‑approval due diligence and loan documentation
• Mentor junior team members, delegate tasks, and provide guidance to develop their skills
• Balance multiple priorities in a deadline‑driven environment while maintaining credit quality and fostering client relationships

Qualifications

• 6‑8 years of commercial underwriting and portfolio management experience
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
• Strong financial analysis, legal document interpretation, and decision‑making skills
• Excellent communication, organizational, and customer service skills
• Proficiency in Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and advanced Excel skills
