Portfolio Manager Senior

About the role

The Portfolio Manager – PRO CRE is responsible for preparing detailed credit analyses of non-owner occupied commercial real estate loans to facilitate approval processes. They must possess a thorough understanding of various lending facilities and CRE product types (retail, office, multi-family, lodging, industrial, senior living, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Monitoring the portfolio through financial reviews
• Identifying negative trends
• Preparing covenant checks
• Managing risk models such as Loss Given Default and Probability of Default
• Reviewing rent rolls, operating statements, and construction progress
• Managing upcoming maturities, renewals, and compliance issues
• Ensuring accurate coding and documentation in monitoring systems
• Participating in client and portfolio review meetings
• Ensuring adherence to procedures and loan conditions

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, or finance; Master’s preferred
• At least 7 years of commercial credit experience, including underwriting CRE loans
• Experience in credit analysis, underwriting, or portfolio management
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
