About the role
Lead fast-paced stabilization for affordable housing, drive occupancy, and build a collaborative, community-focused team.
Responsibilities
- Lead Lease-Up Execution: Drive aggressive, strategic lease-up campaigns to achieve stabilization targets on time and on budget.
- Own the Portfolio: Oversee day-to-day operations across multiple properties—leasing, pricing, compliance, and maintenance.
- Inspire & Guide: Manage and mentor leasing, admin, and maintenance staff to hit goals and grow professionally.
- Drive Performance: Manage NOI, financial reporting, and Section 8 paperwork with precision and care.
- Innovate: Identify opportunities for improvement and lead light rehab projects as needed.
- Collaborate: Partner with our accounting team, senior leaders, and vendors to deliver consistent results.
Requirements
- Proven lease-up experience — required. You've successfully taken a property from pre-leasing through stabilization and know what it takes.
- 3+ years of property management experience, with hands-on oversight of multiple properties.
- Experience working at affordable or workforce housing properties.
- A track record of hitting occupancy goals under tight timelines.
- Proven leadership skills and the ability to build strong, effective teams quickly.
- Comfort in a fast-paced, evolving work environment.
- A data-oriented, problem-solving mindset.
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Business Administration, or related field.
- Professional certifications such as CCIM, PMP, or similar.
- Experience with affordable housing programs and regulations.
- Knowledge of property management software and systems.
Skills
- Strong leadership and team-building skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
- Understanding of financial statements and budgeting.
