Responsibilities

  • Build, maintain, and automate financial models in Excel, including fund models, sources and uses schedules, proformas, asset allocation reports, and portfolio performance analytics
  • Learn to query and extract data from the firm's centralized database using Microsoft Dataverse or other data sources
  • Assist in developing dashboards and visualizations using Power BI, PowerApps, or similar tools
  • Conduct weekly QA reviews and periodic internal audits of reports, dashboards, fund documentation, and database integrity to maintain high data standards
  • Analyze portfolio data to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies; flag potential issues and highlight positive performance indicators
  • Aid in preparing materials and recommendations for senior leadership as skills develop
  • Lead fund operations and data automation projects; respond to ad hoc reporting requests and support new report development as business needs evolve
  • Maintain strong client relationships by responding to inquiries regarding fund performance, allocations, and portfolio risks, while communicating complex financial and risk concepts clearly and effectively
  • Drive process improvement initiatives to enhance risk management reporting and streamline manual workflows for greater operational efficiency
  • Collaborate with finance, operations, originations, asset management, and investor relations teams to gather data and reporting requirements

Requirements

Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including financial modeling and data analysis

Experience or coursework in financial modeling and reporting

Strong analytical mindset with the ability to identify trends and draw insights from data

Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Self-starter mentality with excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required; Finance, Accounting, Economics, Math, Real Estate, or related field preferred

Skills

Strong proficiency in Microsoft Power Platform (Power BI, PowerApps, Dataverse) or similar data visualization tools
