Portfolio Leasing Manager

A well-established real estate owner-operator is hiring a Leasing Manager to lead leasing performance and renewals across a residential portfolio in the Boston area. This is a high visibility role focused on occupancy outcomes, renewal execution, and leasing strategy rather than building operations.This is not a building Property Manager opening. The scope is leasing performance, renewals, broker coordination, and leasing analytics, not maintenance oversight, vendor management, or day-to-day building operations. Property Managers who lack specific Leasing Manager experience will not be qualified.Key DetailsLocation and work arrangement: Boston area, primarily onsite with periodic site visitsCompensation: Base salary target $110,000 to $130,000 plus 5-10% bonusWhy This Job is Awesome / Your ImpactOwn the renewal pipeline and leasing execution for a stable, high occupancy residential portfolioInfluence pricing and leasing strategy using comps, market feedback, and performance trendsPartner closely with internal stakeholders to improve occupancy outcomes and reduce vacancy lossStep into a visible role with room to drive process and strategy across multiple propertiesResponsibilitiesOwn the leasing performance plan across the portfolio including upcoming availability, leasing pace, and renewal strategyManage renewals end to end including tenant outreach cadence, renewal offers, timing, and retention trackingCoordinate leasing activity with brokers and internal teams to ensure timely showings, clean handoffs, and consistent follow upTrack leasing KPIs and trends including renewal conversion, days vacant, traffic, and pricing performance and present recommendationsProvide market and comp insights to support pricing decisions and unit strategyMaintain accurate leasing data and reporting within AppFolio and ExcelEnsure leasing and tenant related processes align with applicable regulations and internal standardsCredentialsResidential leasing experience within an owner-operatorDemonstrated progression in responsibility, ownership, and portfolio impactRequired Qualifications7 or more years of residential leasing experience with direct ownership of renewals and leasing performanceExperience managing a leasing pipeline and coordinating showings through brokers or internal leasing teamsStrong organizational skills and ability to operate independently with minimal oversightAdvanced Excel skills for reporting, tracking, and performance analysisHands-on experience with a property management system; AppFolio strongly preferredPreferred QualificationsExperience supporting leasing strategy for a multi property residential portfolioComfortable producing KPI dashboards and presenting performance insights to leadership There are no costs for candidates utilizing our services as our clients pay for all related hiring fees.
