Responsibilities
- Support the management of client portfolios including account set up, daily reconciliation, model creation and maintenance, portfolio optimization, tax loss harvesting, and portfolio trading.
- Execute trades approved or instructed by Portfolio Managers or senior members of the team.
- Enhance and support the product trade workflow and portfolio monitoring functions.
- Monitor index changes and curate buy lists for corporate actions.
- Support client requests ranging from proposal generation to client reporting.
- Perform regular reporting for internal and client use.
- Perform quarterly billing and AUM reporting.
- Proactively communicate with clients regarding bond maturities, cash flows, quarterly performance reporting of equity portfolios and other reporting as required.
- Work with custodians to help with client inquiries and internal reporting as necessary.
- Assist sales and marketing through development of advisor/client materials and development of new materials.
- Participate in presentations, conference calls, conferences.
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications
- You possess a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Engineering, Computer Science or similar.
- You have 2+ years of experience in the investment management field (preferred).
- You have interest in pursuing investment related designations and/or FINRA exams such as the CFA, FRM, or the FINRA Series 65 exam.
- You are hard-working and eager to learn in a fast-paced, innovative environment.
- You are motivated by eagerness to learn about new technology and financial techniques.

- You are able to prioritize and optimize own workload as a function of unexpected events and existing parallel/serial workflows.
- You have excellent problem solving, communication, and analytical skills.
- You are an expert Excel user and have strong Microsoft Office skills.
- You have experience with Bloomberg Port and/or Orion preferred.
- You are able to think independently and creatively approach data analysis and communicate complex ideas clearly.
- You have experience with portfolio optimizers and factor risk models.
- You are a team player with strong quantitative, analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
