Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Portfolio Analyst to support enterprise portfolio management initiatives. This role will assist in monitoring project and program performance, ensuring governance compliance, preparing portfolio analytics, and supporting strategic investment decisions. The ideal candidate will have experience in project, program, or portfolio management along with strong analytical, reporting, and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the management and governance of enterprise projects and programs throughout their lifecycle.
- Affiliate with project and program teams in the development and evaluation of business cases.
- Ensure compliance with portfolio governance frameworks, policies, standards, and best practices.
- Guide project teams through governance processes and promote standardized methodologies.
- Prepare portfolio-level reports and analysis covering financial performance, resource utilization, risks, benefits realization, change management, and project health.
- Maintain track of planned versus actual project performance and identify schedule or budget variances.
- Participate in reviews of projects or programs that are misaligned with strategic or financial objectives and provide recommendations.
- Develop monthly and ad hoc dashboards, reports, trend analysis, and executive presentations.
- Track key milestones, risks, issues, schedule changes, and project performance metrics.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance portfolio reporting, governance, and operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with business leaders, project managers, engineers, and cross-functional stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience supporting Project Management Office (PMO), Portfolio Management, Program Management, or Business Operations.
- Strong understanding of project, program, and portfolio management principles.
- Experience preparing executive reports, dashboards, and performance metrics.
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Power BI.
- Experience Working With SharePoint is Highly Preferred.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Self-motivated with strong attention to detail and a continuous improvement mindset.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Experience working within Enterprise PMO (EPMO) environments.
- Knowledge of Change Management methodologies.
- Experience with portfolio reporting, financial analysis, and strategic planning.
- Familiarity with project governance, resource planning, and business process improvement.
