Primary Responsibilities
- Supervises all phases of the Porter Department.
- Adheres to the operational and fiscal activities of the department to include: staffing levels, budgets, and financial goals.
- Supervises porter personnel. Responsible for hiring, training, coaching, and discipline porter staff.
- Suggests procedures to improve the operating quality and efficiency of the department.
- Aids with the investigation and resolution of employee and guest concerns.
- Enforces all company and departmental policies and procedures.
- Participates in departmental brainstorming sessions.
- Completes Human Resources paperwork timely and accurately.
Knowledge and Skill Requirements
- Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills required.
- Professional verbal and written communication skills.
- Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and inspire and elevate an individual or a team's performance.
Working Conditions
Working conditions are normal for an office environment. Work may require evening, early morning, and weekend schedules.
