Come join the Food Production team at Saint Francis Hospital, part of Trinity Health Of New England. We are a member of the nationwide Trinity Health family, bringing compassionate care to our communities. The Porter/Dishwasher is responsible for the delivery of food to various areas (Cheer cupboard, Trailer and Gengras Cafeteria), brewing and pouring hot beverages, sweeping and mopping floors, cleaning equipment, delivering and picking up coffee carts as assigned, removing trash from the department, and supplying clean trays, dishes, flatware and food items.

Responsibilities

• Transports food and supplies to various locations in a timely and accurate manner.
• Maintains assigned department areas and equipment in a clean, safe and sanitary manner.
• Contributes to the efficient operation of the department and the achievement of excellence by following departmental and hospital guidelines.
• Stands, walks, pushes and pulls most of the day; moves 350# carts and lifts 7
