• Sunday 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
• Monday 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
• Thursday 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
• Friday 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
• Saturday (Concierge) 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM

This role requires the employee to work as a Porter for four days and as a Concierge one day per week.

Pay

$23.08 per hour

Summary

Residential and commercial property owners recognize the vital role Janitors play in protecting the health of tenants, guests, and vendors. Planned Companies Building Services (PBS) is seeking friendly and detail-oriented Janitors and Custodians to provide common area and bathroom cleaning services. You’ll ensure tenants, guests, and vendors have a clean, healthy, and safe property to live or work in. Politeness, respect, thoroughness, and attentiveness to detail are essential to delivering the highest level of service.

Responsibilities

• Vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping floors of various types
• Stripping, buffing, and waxing floors of various types
• Dusting ceilings, light fittings, countertops, and loose furniture
• Scrubbing and sanitizing bathroom toilets, sinks, and kitchen fixtures
• Emptying trash cans and washing and drying windows
• Requesting cleaning supply orders and reporting breakages and needed repairs
• Assisting building management with projects and other duties as requested
• Greeting, announcing, and providing direction to tenants, guests, and vendors upon entering the building
• Developing and maintaining relationships with tenants to provide individualized experiences based on their personalities, lifestyles, needs, and expectations, including:
  • Scheduling reservations and appointments at restaurants, businesses, hotels, and entertainment venues
  • Planning and organizing on-site events
  • Providing direction, referrals, and access to local entertainment, dining, retail shopping, sporting events, tourist attractions, and car services
• Documenting, securing, and tracking mail, deliveries, and vendor services at designated areas
• Answering telephones, monitoring the lobby, and maintaining and controlling keys and access cards

Requirements

• Willingness to stand for extended periods
• Ability to lift 50 pounds or more
• Experience in similar roles using cleaning products and equipment to clean floors and carpets
• Ability to work on a team as well as independently
• Strong report-writing and clear verbal communication skills
• High School diploma or equivalent preferred
