Pool Technician

About the role

As a Pool Technician you will clean and maintain residential and commercial pools, keep the pool area orderly, and enforce all safety rules and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Manage a weekly pool route performing regular maintenance: test and balance water chemistry, adjust sanitation levels, clean and backwash filters, brush and vacuum pools, clean tiles, and similar tasks.
• Remove debris from pool surfaces and floors, balance chemicals, and maintain all pool equipment.
• Communicate effectively with customers, supervisors, and coworkers to deliver high-quality service.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
• Maintain professionalism, helpfulness, and courtesy while providing top-tier service.
• Keep a professional appearance and ensure clean jobsites.
• Maintain accurate records and complete company forms.

Requirements

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Valid Driver’s License with a clean motor vehicle record.
• Pool experience preferred, but training is available.
• Physical ability to lift 50+ pounds.
• Ability to work outdoors for extended periods, sometimes in extreme temperatures.
• Dependable, reliable, responsive, detail-oriented problem solver.
• Pass a drug screen and background check.

Qualifications

• Certified Pool Operator (CPO) certification is a plus.

Pay

$18.41 – $21.63 per hour. Compensation within the range is determined by education, experience, knowledge, skills, internal equity, and market alignment.
