POOL MONITOR

Responsibilities

• Aid in the operation, maintenance, and cleanliness of the pool, deck area, restrooms, and adjacent areas.
• Open and close the pool facility according to the scheduled times and start-up/shutdown procedures.
• Ensure compliance with all pool rules, policies, and procedures, and restrict access to the pool to community residents only.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks such as checking chlorine levels, adjusting chlorinator tanks, vacuuming the pool, backwashing filters daily, cleaning restrooms, decks, towels, and other amenities.
• Fill and maintain the baby pool, hose off the deck area, check and adjust pH and chlorine levels, and add chlorine as needed.
• Pick up litter around the pool area.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability or experience in pool maintenance is desirable.
• Must be able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
• Must be able to read and understand the English language.
• Fluency in Spanish is a plus.
