POOL MONITOR

Responsibilities

• Aid in the operation, maintenance, and cleanliness of the pool, deck area, rest rooms, and adjacent areas.
• Open and close the pool facility according to the scheduled times and start-up/shutdown procedures.
• Ensure adherence to all pool rules, policies, and procedures, and restrict access to the pool to community residents only.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks such as checking chlorine levels, filling chlorinator tanks, vacuuming the pool, backwashing filters daily, cleaning restrooms, decks, and adjacent areas.
• Assure proper pH and chlorine levels in both pools, adding chlorine as needed and not adding acid.
• Pick up litter around the pool area.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability or experience in pool maintenance is desirable.
• Must be able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
• Must be able to read and understand the English language.
• Fluency in Spanish is a plus.
