About the role
This position is responsible for cleaning and maintaining the appearance of pool facilities, public areas and restrooms, as well as engaging with guests to ensure a great vacation experience.
Essential duties and tasks
- Consistently enforce all deck and pool safety rules.
- Clean and sanitize tables, patio furniture, exterior clubhouse patio areas, restrooms and other common areas of the pool deck in compliance with company guidelines.
- Remove used guest pool towels from bins and replenish clean stock.
- Sweep walkways and other pathways to and from resort facilities.
- Pick up trash as found in common areas, empty trash containers, replace trash bags, as necessary.
- Engage and communicate with owners and guests regarding food & beverage, activities and other functions property–wide while ensuring excellent customer service.
Qualifications
- A High School Diploma or GED or currently enrolled or attending school.
- General water safety and guest service experience preferred.
- Certification in First Aid and CPR (HICV provides training).
- Ability to follow prescribed procedures and guidelines in accomplishing tasks as described above.
- Ability to be self-directed.
- Skill in attention to detail.
