Oversee the pool area, make safety announcements, and maintain an inventory of all poolside equipment to ensure it is always available for guest use. Provide information and services to residents in a hospitality-focused environment.
Responsibilities
- Oversee pool area (adult/children) and make safety announcements
- Assist with set up and breakdown for poolside activities as needed
- Submit and report incidents to the appropriate manager
- Pick up debris from the pool and perform basic cleaning tasks
- Check sports equipment to ensure it is in order for guest use
- Report broken sports equipment to the manager for replacement
- Work as a team member and be accessible and approachable to residents/guests
- Follow the Safety and Environmental Protection Policy and related procedures
- Maintain a safe work environment by following safety procedures
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalency preferred
- Completion of college-level courses in Hospitality is strongly desirable
- Two or more years’ experience in the Hospitality Industry
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Multiple language fluency is desirable
- Ability to work flexible hours and weekends
- Strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift 30–50 lbs
- Work in an upright standing position for long periods of time
- Walk and climb stairs
- Handle, finger, grasp, and feel objects and equipment
- Reach with hands and arms
- Communicate, receive, and exchange ideas and information verbally and in writing
- Navigate the property/building quickly and easily as required
- Respond to emergencies in a timely manner
No supervisory responsibilities.
Schedule
Thursday–Sunday, 11:00 AM – 7:00 PM
