About the role
This position is open to certified teachers who are licensed as an Athletic Coach by the New Mexico Public Education Department.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement athletic programs that promote student learning and development.
- Collaborate with other coaches and staff to ensure the success of the athletic program.
- Assist in the supervision of student athletes during practices and games.
- Maintain accurate records and reports related to athletic activities.
Requirements
- Licensed as an Athletic Coach by the New Mexico Public Education Department (NM PED).
- Certified as a teacher.
- Experience coaching at the high school level.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of current coaching techniques and strategies.
- Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks.
- Proficiency in using technology for administrative tasks.
