Polysomnography Technician

About the role

Join Our Team as a Polysomnography Technician – Help Patients Dream Again! This position is scheduled to work PRN - on call as needed and will receive an 8% pay differential!

Responsibilities

• Collect and analyze patient data to tailor testing protocols.
• Perform and monitor sleep studies, ensuring high-quality data acquisition.
• Implement therapeutic interventions, such as PAP therapy and oxygen titration.
• Score sleep/wake stages and clinical events to generate precise reports.
• Provide patient education and support for a comfortable testing experience.

Requirements

• Certification as a Polysomnographic Technician or equivalent.
• Strong technical skills and attention to detail in monitoring and scoring sleep studies.
• Excellent communication skills to provide patient education and collaborate with the healthcare team.
• Current CPR/BCLS certification.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of a polysomnography program associated with a state licensed and/or nationally accredited educational facility or completion of an AASM A-STEP program and equivalent experience and documented proficiency at all competencies required of a Polysomnographic Technician.
• Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (R.P.S.G.T).
• Maintain current CPR certification.
