Responsibilities

  • Performs routine and complex Polysomnographic recordings using technical understanding of equipment.
  • Recognizes parameters used in recording for Polysomnographic and CPAP/BiPAP tests.
  • Efficiently and effectively conducts PSG and CPAP/BiPAP testing.
  • Provides quality care to all patients.
  • Demonstrates willingness to assist others and work well with minimal supervision.
  • Shows strong, independent judgment.
  • Uses department and hospital-wide policies and procedures during patient care.
  • Improves job knowledge and skills.

Qualifications

  • No experience required.
  • We provide comprehensive on-the-job training.
  • Desired: One year in a sleep medicine setting.
  • Diploma in Polysomnographic Technologist, Registered Sleep Technologist, or Sleep Disorders Specialty (National).
