About the role
A Polysomnographic Technician I performs comprehensive polysomnographic testing and analysis, and associated interventions under general supervision of the technical supervisor. This role ensures the smooth flow of patients and polysomnographic studies in the department, accommodating patients of all ages.
Responsibilities
- Performs comprehensive polysomnographic testing and analysis
- Ensures the flow of patients and polysomnographic studies in the department
- Maintains high quality of standards in accordance with TJC, the American Academy of Sleep Medicine, the American Association of Sleep Technologists and Baptist Health Systems
Requirements
- Graduate of a qualified BRPT approved polysomnographic program eligible for Registered Polysomnographic Technologist examination for Polysomnographic Technologists (RPSGT)
- Certified Polysomnographic Technician (CPSGT) preferred
- Minimum Required Experience: EOE, including disability/vets
Qualifications
- High School, Cert, GED, Trn, Exper
- BRPT Certified Polysomnographic Technician
- Basic Life Support
Skills
- Comprehensive knowledge of polysomnography techniques
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Estimated pay range for this position is $23.91 - $31.08 / hour depending on experience.
