Join our Newark, Delaware site as a Polish Lab Technician and play a key role in supporting cleanroom operations and laboratory trials that drive success in the rapidly evolving technology and connectivity landscape. Responsibilities
- Support clean room operations to facilitate electronic material polishing trials from a team of scientists and engineers.
- Experimental set up and tear down, lab housekeeping, and hazardous waste disposal.
- Operation of metrology such as SEM, AFM, and film thickness tools.
- Record test information in LIMS system and communicate with trial owners.
- First level troubleshooting and maintenance of electropneumatic equipment.
- Collaborate with team to organize pre- and post-trial measurement duties.
Requirements
- A minimum of a high school diploma or GED is required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft applications, such as Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Effective interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with diverse teams.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Independent problem solving, strong attention to detail, and safety-oriented attitude.
- Good computer skills with the ability to learn new software.
- Ability to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) and quality protective equipment.
- Ability to work in a class 10 cleanroom environment and comfortable wearing a cleanroom suit.
- Stand for extended periods of time while operating machinery.
- Lifting 20-30 lb. occasionally.
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate degree in a technical field.
- Mechanical aptitude and experience with high-tech machinery.
- Experience handling chemicals.
Schedule
Monday–Friday, 3:00 PM–11:30 PM.
