Responsibilities

• Deal live poker games and poker tournaments while adhering to all rules and procedures of the department and property.
• Proactively and respectfully greet, interact, and assist staff to foster a harmonious working environment.
• Maintain a professional, friendly, and courteous atmosphere for guests and team members at all times.
• Ensure the integrity of the game and understand the rules and procedures of all table games and marketing communications offered.
• Maintain the speed and accuracy of games by continually moving the action appropriately and recalling betting rounds.
• Assist in all areas of the poker room, including cleanliness, appearance, and overall conditions.
• Notify supervisors or managers of any suspicious or unusual activity or transactions in a timely manner.
• Listen and respond to guest inquiries using a positive, clear speaking voice, providing accurate information.
• Work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Performance Requirements

• Must be 21 years of age.
• Ability to deal games according to rules, regulations, and standards.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical operations.
• Ability to effectively communicate with internal and external guests.

Qualifications

• At least one year of poker dealing experience.
• Previous experience working in a similar resort setting.
