PNNL Nurse Practitioner ARNP

AnovaWorks is looking for a Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our clinic at PNNL in Richland, WA. This is a unique opportunity to work independently, balancing direct patient care in Employee Health services with administrative leadership. There are no insurance code requirements, and no weekend or on-call expectations.

Responsibilities

• Provide occupational health treatment
• Diagnose and treat acute and episodic illnesses
• Prescribe all necessary medications and treatments
• Perform comprehensive physical examinations of patients
• Develop and implement patient management policies and procedures
• Facilitate referrals to other healthcare professionals and medical facilities
• Communicate with collaborating physician or specialist regarding patient care
• Support coordination of beryllium cases by facilitating education and coordinating medical monitoring appointments with offsite beryllium facilities
• Interview workers and managers, visit worksites and facilities, and review employee job task analysis documents
• Support the team with the delivery of timely reports and information
• Manage the emergency preparedness program
• Participate in meetings with PNNL management

Requirements

• WA Nurse Practitioner License (Required)
• BLS/ACLS Certification (Required)
• Previous experience in Occupational Medicine, Family Practice, Urgent Care, or ER (preferred)
• Previous administrative experience preferred
• Ability to build rapport with patients
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Team-oriented

Pay

$130,000 - $145,000 per year
