About the Role

The Family Nurse Practitioner-Float delivers high-quality healthcare in both clinical and telehealth settings, ensuring patient satisfaction and safety. They lead clinic staff, provide comprehensive patient assessments, review medical histories, order and interpret diagnostic tests, prescribe medications, and develop treatment plans. The role requires adherence to protocols, regulations (including HIPAA), and active participation in team and community activities.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality care, meet patient volume goals, and ensure timely documentation.
• Lead and support clinic staff, facilitate new employee onboarding, and promote a positive work environment.
• Engage with clinical leadership to elevate patient care and address concerns.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests, prescribe treatments, and educate patients.
• Follow clinical guidelines, participate in mandatory training, and adhere to compliance standards.
• Communicate effectively within the team and with patients, including virtual consultations.
• Support community outreach and participate in on-call duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Master’s Degree in Nursing (MSN) with 1+ years of relevant experience preferred.
• Active, verifiable state license, DEA registration, and DOT certification within 120 days.
• Ability to treat patients of all ages, work autonomously in fast-paced environments, and adapt to evolving protocols.

Skills

• Preferred experience in urgent care, occupational medicine, ER, or family practice, with telehealth experience highly desirable.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills, with a focus on compassionate patient care.
