Overview
We are seeking a PMO Coordinator to join our team in Vestavia Hills, AL.
About the role
- Provides coordination and administrative support to the PMO.
- Sets up and supports project managers and project controls staff with standard PMO deliverables.
- Captures project review meetings; tracks action items, decisions, and follow-ups.
- Documents project management and project controls processes, ensuring alignment with PMO standards.
- Supports continuous improvement by identifying gaps, inconsistencies, or inefficiencies in existing processes.
- Supports onboarding of new project team members to PMO tools, templates, and procedures.
- Helps enforce consistent use of standardized templates and systems across projects.
- Maintains project document repositories and ensures audit-ready records.
- Aids in responses to data requests and audits.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 2+ years of experience supporting EPC projects, PMOs, or project controls teams (electric transmission projects preferred).
- Experience documenting SOPs or workflows for PMOs or project controls teams.
- Familiarity with project management and project controls systems such as P6, Unifier, Aconex, EcoSys, etc.
- Process-driven and detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and compliance.
- Understanding of construction project lifecycles and controls.
Skills
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Knowledge of project management methodologies and tools.
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.

Pay
Expected compensation range is between $70,000 - $90,000 annually depending on skills and experience.
