PM Technician

About the Role

This position involves scheduling and performing preventative and predictive maintenance, serving as the lead mechanic to assign daily work to the maintenance team.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and perform complex preventative and predictive maintenance functions.
• Schedule and perform complex equipment repairs.
• Perform general fabrication and machinist work.
• Troubleshoot problems as necessary.
• Take elective cross-training opportunities.
• Serve as lead mechanic; assign daily work to the maintenance team.
• Perform other duties as necessary.
• Perform all duties in accordance with safety rules and regulations.

Requirements

• Knowledge of current supervisory techniques.
• Expert knowledge of preventative and predictive maintenance functions.
• Expert knowledge of maintenance equipment and tools.
• Strong time management, organization, and prioritizing skills.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Good interpersonal and supervisory skills.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and written repair manuals.
• Ability to read and understand safety rules and regulations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2 years of technical training in general maintenance.
• 8+ years of general maintenance experience required.
• Demonstrated supervisory experience.
• Or any equivalent combination of education and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the key responsibilities of this position.
