About the Role

The Source Hotel, nestled in Denver's vibrant RINo Art District, is a modern retreat blending industrial character with contemporary elegance. Part of a dynamic marketplace featuring artisanal dining, craft beverages, and curated retail, our hotel offers guests an immersive experience celebrating creativity, culture, and community. We are seeking a Host/Hostess to join our team and uphold our inspired hospitality standards.

Responsibilities

• Train, mentor, and influence The Source Service Standards and steps of service.
• Welcome every member and guest by name (if local/applicable) and greet new guests warmly.
• Answer high-volume phone lines, addressing inquiries about menus, hours, amenities, pricing, and reservations (restaurant, roof, cinema). Handle general inquiries, deliveries, messages for members, and employee communications with accuracy and discretion.
• Create reservations for club/restaurants and assist F&B Managers with service standards and execution.
• Ensure all calls and interactions are punctuated with friendliness, accuracy, and professionalism.
• Collaborate with the reception team to maintain excellent service and manage guest expectations.
• Build relationships with members and guests, communicating feedback (positive or negative) to management.
• Foster a fun, positive, and professional atmosphere.

Requirements

• Minimum of 1+ years’ experience in a similar role.
• Experience answering high-volume phone lines and handling inquiries professionally and efficiently.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to resolve conflicts.
• Detail-oriented, articulate, and capable of multitasking in a high-volume, demanding environment.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Flexible schedule with availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to seize, grasp, turn, and hold objects with hands.
• Capable of sitting or standing for long periods.
• Fast-paced movements occasionally required to navigate different areas of the hotel.
• Clear communication with guests, members, and coworkers.
• Ability to reach and operate computers, keyboards, and desktop items.
• Occasional kneeling, bending, crouching, and climbing as required.

Qualifications

• Bilingual or multilingual ability is helpful but not required.
• All employees must maintain a neat, clean, and well-groomed appearance per Crescent Hotel standards.
