Plumbing Training & Quality Specialist

About the Role

Serve as the plumbing subject matter expert for a client’s water leak detection and shut-off device pilot program. Translate complex plumbing and installation procedures into easy-to-understand training guides, FAQs, and troubleshooting documents for call center agents. Review installation work for quality, accuracy, and compliance with plumbing standards. Provide expertise to resolve escalated customer or installer issues related to plumbing. Conduct periodic on-site visits to observe installation practices, gather feedback, and update training materials accordingly.

Responsibilities

• Develop clear, concise training materials and process documentation for a non-technical audience
• Review installation work for quality, accuracy, and compliance with plumbing standards
• Resolve escalated customer or installer issues related to plumbing
• Conduct periodic on-site visits to observe installation practices and gather feedback
• Update training materials based on field observations and feedback

Requirements

• Hands-on plumbing experience (licensed plumber or equivalent trade experience preferred)
• Proven ability to develop clear, concise training materials and process documentation
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Experience with in-home or connected device technology (smart home, IoT) preferred
• Willingness to travel 1-2 times per month within the US
