Plumbing Design Technician Intermediate

6-month contract role located in Cincinnati, OH with potential for extensions. W2 contract; no PTO or benefits. ACA-compliant supplemental package available for enrollment. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States and able to sit on Primary Talent Partners W2 without sponsorship.

About the role

Hybrid position staffed out of the Cincinnati office. Majority of time worked remotely, with approximately 2 days per week in the office on average as needed for projects.

Responsibilities

• Produce plumbing designs (domestic hot and cold water, waste and vent, and storm water) for construction by modeling in Revit.
• Coordinate plumbing designs with other disciplines.
• Review and respond to RFIs and shop drawings.

Requirements

• 10 years of practical application experience in plumbing design, including waste and vent, domestic hot and cold water, and storm water related to building systems (reduces to 5 years with an Associate’s Degree in a related technical discipline).
• Ability to collaborate and work effectively in a variety of teams, including multi-disciplinary teams, with clients, and construction teams.
• Proficient working knowledge of Revit and AutoCAD software.
• General working knowledge of plumbing codes.
• Understanding of clash detection, clash resolution, and building system coordination.
• Industrial design experience including pharmaceutical manufacturing or similar.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Forward-thinking, eager to learn best practices, and contribute with innovative ideas.
• Displayed ability to learn quickly and driven to broaden knowledge base.

Pay

$33.00 - $43.00/hour.
