About the role
Duration: Long term Contract (possibility of extension)
Location: Hybrid: Cincinnati, OH, Indianapolis, IN, Conshohocken/Philadelphia, PA and Cary/Raleigh–Durham, NC.
Responsibilities
- Produce plumbing (domestic hot and cold water, waste and vent and storm water) designs for construction by modeling in Revit.
- Coordinate plumbing designs with other disciplines.
- Review and respond to RFIs and shop drawings.
Qualifications
- 10 years, or 5 years with an Associates Degree in a related technical discipline, of practical application experience of plumbing design, including waste and vent, domestic hot and cold water, and storm water related to building systems.
- Ability to collaborate and work effectively in a variety of teams, including multi-disciplinary teams, with the client, and construction team.
- Proficient working knowledge of Revit and AutoCAD software.
- General working knowledge of plumbing codes.
- Understanding of clash detection, clash resolution and building system coordination.
- Industrial design experience including pharmaceutical manufacturing or similar.
- Strong communication skills both verbal and written.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Forward thinking, eager to learn best practices, and contribute with innovative ideas.
- Displayed ability to learn quickly and driven to broaden knowledge base.
