PLC/HMI Automation Programmer

The Role

This role involves developing PLC code and HMI graphics for control systems that manage water and wastewater operations. Projects may include both new installations and modifications to existing systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop PLC code and HMI graphics for control systems
• Utilize Microsoft Excel to organize programming functions
• Work independently on projects, but collaborate in a team setting when necessary
• Work on-site in Madison, WI

Requirements

• Experience programming Allen Bradley PLC's and HMI's
• Comfortable with CompactLogix, MicroLogix, and some ControlLogix
• Experience with PanelView, Maple, AutoDirect, and Wonderware HMI programs
• Self-starter with excellent time management and communication skills

Qualifications

• A 2-year degree in Automation Technology or equivalent experience and 5+ years of relevant experience are preferred

Competitive pay is offered based on experience and qualifications.

Monday – Friday 8:00 am – 5:00 pm.
