About the role
Player’s Club Representatives serve as Guest Service Ambassadors for the property and are directly involved in fulfilling all marketing initiatives from guest enrollment to event execution.
Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service to casino guests while promoting and navigating the casino’s loyalty program.
- Enroll potential new casino players into the Unity program, explain program benefits, issue rewards, and assist with guest inquiries to enhance the overall gaming experience.
- Greet and provide personalized service for guests, handle inquiries and concerns professionally, and provide information about casino amenities, promotions, and entertainment.
- Exhibit integrity, discretion, and a calm professional manner while interacting with guests and VIPs.
- Maintain confidentiality of all casino data.
- Participate in the execution of marketing events such as concerts, celebrity meet-and-greets, giveaways, drawings, parties, and tournaments.
- Perform front-of-house and back-of-house duties for concerts and high-profile celebrity events.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Six (6) months of customer service experience, preferably in a casino or hospitality environment.
- Ability to work overnights, weekends, and holidays depending on assigned schedule.
- Ability to maintain the tradition of superior guest service at Seminole Hard Rock Tampa.
- Strong passion for great guest service.
- Ability to navigate and work on a computer (PC or Mac).
- Strong verbal and non-verbal communication skills.
- Energetic, caring, and compassionate demeanor.
- Desire to move up within the global opportunities provided by Seminole Gaming and Hard Rock International.
- Belief and desire to represent core values of Integrity, Respect, Accountability, Passion and Dedication, Communication, and Fun.
- Possess a 5F personality: Fun, Fast, Focused, Fresh, and Friendly.
- Ability to anticipate and meet guests’ needs.
- Must conduct themselves in accordance with all Gaming Commission Regulations and Seminole Tribe of Florida departmental policies and procedures.
- Ability to work standing or walking for long periods, with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 40 pounds.
Work Environment
- Duties are typically performed on the casino floor in a fast-paced, guest-smoking environment with constant exposure to the general public and excessive noise.
- Frequent standing, walking, reaching with hands and arms, occasional sitting, and occasional stooping and bending.
- Frequent lifting and/or moving up to 40 pounds.
Native American Preference Policy
First preference in hiring, training, promoting, and all other aspects of employment is given to members of the Seminole Tribe who meet the job requirements. Second preference is given to members of other federally recognized Native American Tribes who meet the job requirements.
Employment Process
Candidates must obtain gaming licensure by successfully completing a background check with Seminole Gaming Compliance and Regulations prior to beginning employment. Background checks may include, but are not limited to, credit checks, criminal background checks, and drug screens.
