Players Club Representative
About the role
Colonial Downs Group (CDG) is owned and operated by Churchill Downs Incorporated and consists of several different brands across Virginia. The Player Services Representative performs all applicable transactions and serves as Guest contact, and may be required to work long hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Responsibilities
- Perform verifications on loose and bundled money, coin transactions, and check cashing
- Process jackpots, cash checks, cash advances, and redeem valid gaming tickets
- Safeguard company assets and adhere to all player services policies and procedures
- Maintain and balance all funds entrusted on an assigned shift
- Monitor for fraud, forged/counterfeit currency, and/or tickets
- Identify and gather information on valuable guests through observation, analysis, personal contact, and service
- Execute guest loyalty, relationships, and direct marketing programs
- Accurately and efficiently perform data entry tasks associated with Players Club memberships
- Report and update Player accounts using Player tracking database
- Possess and maintain thorough knowledge of all special events, promotions, advertising campaigns, and community events
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Cash handling and guest service experience preferred
- Must obtain and maintain valid Virginia Racing Commission License

Physical Requirements & Working Conditions
The Team Member may be required to stand and walk for extended periods of time, and may be exposed to smoke when on the floor of the gaming room. Pay
Compensation: $15 per hour plus tips
