About the role
The Players Club Representative at Rosie’s Gaming Emporium – Vinton is responsible for performing verifications on various transactions, serving as a guest contact, and managing cash and inventory. This position requires long hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Responsibilities
- Verifies loose and bundled money, coin transactions, and check cashing.
- Processes jackpots, cashes checks, cash advances, and redeems valid gaming tickets.
- Safeguards company assets and adheres to player services policies and procedures.
- Maintains and balances all funds under his/her responsibility and prepares reconciliation reports.
- Maintains secure cash inventory and keys.
- Identifies and gathers information on valuable guests through observation, analysis, personal contact, and service.
- Executes guest loyalty, relationships, and direct marketing programs.
- Provides services to respond to guest requirements.
- Accurately and efficiently performs data entry tasks associated with Players Club memberships.
- Reports and updates Player accounts using Player tracking database.
- Possesses and maintains thorough knowledge of all special events, promotions, advertising campaigns, and community events.
- Displays superior people skills and a mature presence and confidence.
- Fulfills duties related to stock of inventory, reprint of guest promotional materials, and processing OTB transactions as required.
- Follows all standard operating procedures and cash handling procedures.
- Maintains an orderly workstation.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Cash handling and guest service experience preferred.
- Must obtain and maintain a valid Virginia Racing Commission License.

Pay
The starting pay range for this position is $15.00 per hour plus tokens.
