Job Description

Seminole Classic Casino pioneered Indian gaming when it opened as the country’s first large stakes bingo hall in 1979, eventually expanding with gaming machines and poker. The landmark casino is now home to over 1,000 state-of-the-art, newest-title slot machines and other local favorites such as Diamond Lottos, Fort Knox, Pirate’s Loot. The gaming leader also offers 24/7 live table game action with games including Blackjack, Baccarat, Spanish 21, Three Card Poker and many more. Seminole Classic Casino also features the Hollywood Hall entertainment pavilion and the Stage Bar, a full-service bar that features live entertainment nightly. Patrons can enjoy the EATstreet dining area with food options such as Street Tacos, Slice and Mojoe as well as a burger and wing joint named Flying Cow.

Essential Job Functions

• Solicits and identifies new gaming customers for the Player’s Club program.
• Maintains customer information assuring the highest standards of data entry.
• Promotes Seminole Classic Casino by communicating with customers in an enthusiastic, helpful, and friendly manner.
• Delivers a service level which creates an atmosphere that makes our guests want to return, giving each guest a positive, memorable entertainment experience.
• Commits to routinely going above and beyond in the accomplishment of position responsibilities in an effort to play a role in the achievement of organizational goals.
• Presents an image of excitement, enthusiasm, and outgoing personality, while being able to project a professional appearance.
• Maintains up-to-date knowledge of player tracking system, promotions, events, entertainment and general property information.
• Creates and issues Player’s Club cards and promotes the program and related promotions.
• Communicates effectively with guests in English, specific to position duties and responsibilities.
• Maintains integrity of database by following precise standards of data entry.
• Ensures the protection of customer’s rewards and credit lines.
• Works as a team.
• Handles customer inquiries in a courteous, efficient and professional manner.
• Conducts themselves in accordance with all Gaming Commission Regulations, and Seminole Tribe of Florida/departmental policies and procedures.

Other Duties As Assigned

Work Environment

• Must be able to work in a smoking environment.
• Duties and responsibilities are typically performed on the Casino Floor with constant exposure to general public.
• Must be able to work in a smoking environment.
• Must be able to work at a fast pace and in stressful situations.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule to include evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time and maneuver in a confined area.
• Must be able to communicate with guests in a noisy environment.
• Must be able to respond to visual and aural cues, using color monitors on computer screens, and addressing concerns or questions.
• Must be able to push and/or pull 5 lbs., lifting up to 40 lbs. on a limited basis.

Required

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous commission, customer service, telemarketing or retail sales experience preferred.
• Basic mathematical skills to include ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide specific to position responsibilities.
• Basic computer skills preferred.
