Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 1-2 years of gaming experience is preferred.
- Must have excellent internal and external customer service skills.
- Must have 10-key (calculator) skills.
- Ability to count large sums of cash and chips.
- Ability to obtain the appropriate work authorization per local, state, federal, and gaming regulations.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for developing an environment that creates excitement for guests and employees.
- Provide assistance for promotional activities such as collateral distribution, coupon redemption, and conveying information to guests.
- Provide exemplary customer service in accordance with the Margaritaville Resort Casino standards.
- Affirmatively issue compliments in accordance with Margaritaville Resort Casino guidelines with the proper controls, auditing, surveillance, and coordination in place.
- Assist in the resolution of player and cross department challenges through interaction both on the casino floor and off.
- Work closely with hosts, slot department, table games department, guest services/call center personnel, IT, Facilities, and Security.
- Maintain confidentiality of information and agree to and sign the Margaritaville Resort Casino confidentiality agreement.
- Support and maintain Margaritaville Resort Casino courtesy guidelines and ensure subordinate employee participation.
- Regular attendance in conformance with the standards which may be established by Margaritaville Resort Casino from time to time is essential to the successful performance of this position.
- Employees with irregular attendance will be subject to disciplinary action up to and including termination.
- Upon employment, all employees are required to fully comply with Margaritaville Resort Casino policies and procedures for the safe and efficient operation of company facilities. Employees who violate company policies and procedures are subject to disciplinary action up to and including termination.
- Due to the cyclical nature of the hospitality/entertainment industry, employee may be required to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the property. This includes weekends and holidays on a 24 hour/7 day a week basis.
