Play by Play Sports Announcer- Sidney NE

Responsibilities

• Broadcast live high school sporting events
• Provide play-by-play coverage for football, volleyball, basketball and baseball
• Congduct interviews with coaches and athletes
• Create social media content and score updates
• Write sports stories and recaps
• Aid in sports production and broadcast preparation
• Serve as an on-air fill-in when opportunities arise

Qualifications

• Passion for local sports
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to think quickly and react during live broadcasts
• Dependable and professional
• Previous broadcasting experience is a plus but not required

Schedule

Primarily Tuesday and Friday evenings with occasional other weekday and weekend assignments.
