Platinum Relationship Manager
About the role
The Platinum Relationship Manager will be responsible for the retention and growth of E*TRADE’s most valuable and complex retail clients. Through frequent and purpose-driven client contacts, the Relationship Manager will cultivate personal connections by gaining an understanding of the client’s investment needs, goals, and objectives while also becoming a trusted resource.
Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional client service while cultivating relationships with our highest value E*TRADE clients
- Provide comprehensive support including product education, trade facilitation and connecting E*TRADE clients with the full suite of Morgan Stanley products and services
- Utilize deep technical knowledge of futures and contracts trading, along with strong technical market analysis skills
- Exhibit critical thinking / problem solving skills to address client issues and questions to deliver a world-class experience
- Act as a liaison between our internal support teams to ensure our client’s service needs are met timely
- Have a thorough understanding of all Morgan Stanley products and services and will be responsible for identifying opportunities to maximize all aspects of Morgan Stanley
- Focus on the bottom-line performance and constantly look at ways to improve overall performance, sales, customer satisfaction and the entire customer experience
- Mitigate risk by strict adherence to company policies and procedures to ensure a secure and compliant work environment
- Effectively manage high volumes of client interactions, demonstrate strong organizational skills and a commitment to adhering to a schedule
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of client service experience
- FINRA Series 7 and 63 (or equivalent), and ability to be registered in all states and territories
Preferred Qualifications
- 1+ years of supporting high net worth or active trader clients in a brokerage or financial services environment
- Bachelor’s degree
- Thorough understanding of the securities industry including equity, margin, and option trading
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks
- Able to remain calm, professional and in control in a fast-paced business environment
- Dedicated to exceeding the expectations of clients, have a passion to excel, and outstanding oral/written communication skills
- Utilize independent decision-making skills to manage and resolve issues

Pay
Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $85,000.00 and $110,000.00 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.
