The role of Relationship Manager offers an opportunity to engage with clients in a dynamic banking environment. Responsibilities
- Meet or exceed assigned Loan, Deposit, and Fee Income Production goals
- Develop and execute a marketing plan to acquire new relationships
- Build existing client relationships through cross selling all bank products and services
- Participate in local professional and community events to expand network
- Screen requests from potential applicants and explain lending parameters
- Acknowledge suspicious activity to a supervisor
- Follow loans from application to closing to ensure complete documentation
- Develop and execute retention and expansion plans for existing relationships
- Maintain information in CRM Software
- Monitor loan relationships for compliance and communicate with customers
- Follow all bank policies to ensure compliance with laws and regulations
Requirements
- At least 5 years of commercial lending and business banking experience
- 2+ years of proven sales experience in a bank or financial institution
- Strong hold in the Santa Clarita market with an established client network
- Understanding of deposits, treasury management, and loans
- Ability to analyze and organize financial information
- Ability to structure loans according to customer needs and underwriting guidelines
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
- Formal credit training with the ability to structure financial solutions is preferred
