We are seeking a Senior Platform Solutions Architect to lead the evaluation, onboarding, and optimization of tenant workloads onto our application hosting platform. This role serves as a critical bridge between platform engineering and application teams, ensuring that onboarded solutions align with platform standards, security requirements, and industry best practices. The ideal candidate combines deep technical expertise across cloud-native and open-source technologies with strong architectural judgment and the ability to guide teams toward scalable, secure, and efficient solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the evaluation, onboarding, and optimization of tenant workloads onto our application hosting platform
  • Serve as a bridge between platform engineering and application teams to ensure alignment with platform standards, security requirements, and industry best practices
  • Guide teams toward scalable, secure, and efficient cloud-native solutions

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in cloud architecture, platform engineering, or DevOps roles
  • 6+ years of experience with AWS, Docker, Helm, Kubernetes, and container orchestration best practices
  • Experience with full-stack application design using JavaScript frameworks (e.g., Python, Node.js, NGINX, React, or Angular)
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
  • Active TS/SCI clearance; willingness to take a polygraph exam
  • Bachelor’s degree

Qualifications

  • Experience supporting multi-tenant platforms or internal developer platforms
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform or Ansible)
  • Knowledge of Zero Trust architectures and service mesh technologies
  • Ability to balance platform constraints with tenant needs
  • TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
  • Master's degree in Computer Science or Engineering
  • AWS Solution Architect Certification

Pay

The projected compensation range for this position is $86,800.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD). Salary is determined by various factors, including location, education, knowledge, skills, competencies, experience, contract-specific affordability, and organizational requirements.

Work Model

  • Remote: Primarily remote, with occasional in-person work at a Booz Allen or customer facility.
  • Hybrid: Frequent work from a Booz Allen facility, with potential visits to customer facilities as required by the role.
  • Onsite: Work primarily performed at a Booz Allen office or customer facility, collaborating directly with colleagues and customers.

Employees working virtually are generally expected to have their cameras on during meetings to support engagement and effective communication.
