Solution Architect
Location: Birmingham, Alabama (On-Site)
About the role
We are seeking a Solution Architect to support architecture-driven solution design, documentation, and governance across multiple projects. Our team is looking for someone who can translate business needs into clear designs, collaborate with cross-functional partners, and help ensure architecture standards are consistently applied.
Responsibilities
- Lead requirements analysis and solution scoping to define functional and non-functional needs, scope boundaries, and assumptions.
- Develop solution designs that align with architecture vision, principles, standards, and review expectations.
- Create and maintain architecture documentation, decision records, and other required deliverables using approved templates.
- Model workflows, system interactions, and integration concepts across applications, services, and omni-channel experiences.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree is required.
- 3–5 years of experience in requirements analysis and solution scoping.
- Experience in solution design using standards and governance, including preparation for architecture council review and compliance.
- Experience creating architecture documentation and artifacts, with proficiency in Jira, Confluence, and diagramming tools such as Gliffy or equivalent.
