About the role
We’re looking for an experienced Solution Architect to join our fully remote team.
Responsibilities
- Design scalable, secure, and reliable technical solutions aligned with business requirements.
- Work closely with business stakeholders, product managers, developers, and engineering teams.
- Translate business requirements into technical architecture and solution designs.
- Define application, integration, cloud, data, and infrastructure architecture.
- Evaluate technologies and recommend the right tools and platforms.
- Create architecture diagrams, technical documentation, and solution specifications.
- Identify technical risks and provide effective mitigation strategies.
- Support development teams throughout implementation and ensure adherence to architectural standards.
- Contribute to cloud modernization, digital transformation, and enterprise architecture initiatives.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in software engineering, solution architecture, or technical architecture.
- Strong understanding of application architecture, APIs, microservices, databases, and integrations.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Strong knowledge of security, scalability, availability, and performance principles.
- Experience with architecture patterns and technologies such as REST APIs, microservices, containers, and CI/CD.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder-management skills.
- Ability to work effectively with distributed/remote teams.
Nice to Have
- Cloud architecture certification such as AWS Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect, or Google Cloud Architect.
- Experience with enterprise architecture frameworks.
- Experience in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Experience with DevOps, Kubernetes, event-driven architecture, or data platforms.
