Responsibilities

• Define end-to-end solution architectures for enterprise applications covering application, integration, data, security, and infrastructure layers
• Partner with business stakeholders to capture functional and non-functional requirements and translate them into reference architectures and target-state designs
• Lead architecture review boards, evaluating proposed designs against enterprise standards, security policies, and long-term roadmap considerations
• Design integration strategies across SaaS, on-premise, and hybrid landscapes, leveraging API gateways, event streaming, and managed integration platforms
• Establish architecture principles, technology selection guidelines, and reusable patterns for use across multiple delivery teams
• Collaborate with security architects to embed identity, data protection, and compliance controls into solution designs from the outset
• Produce high-quality architecture artifacts including context diagrams, component models, sequence diagrams, and decision records
• Guide cloud migration, modernization, and re-platforming initiatives with a focus on cost, performance, and resilience
• Support proof-of-concept development to validate critical architectural choices before broader adoption
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineering teams during solution delivery
• Track emerging technologies and recommend strategic investments that align with business priorities
• Drive standardization across application portfolios to reduce technical debt and operational complexity
• Engage with vendors and platform partners to evaluate roadmap fit and negotiate technical commitments
• Ensure that solutions meet regulatory, audit, and data governance requirements applicable to the business

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
• 12 or more years of experience in software engineering or solution architecture roles
• Demonstrated experience architecting enterprise applications across at least two major cloud platforms
• Strong expertise in integration patterns, API design, and event-driven architectures
• Deep familiarity with at least one major enterprise platform such as SAP, Oracle, Salesforce, ServiceNow, or Workday
• Working knowledge of identity, security, and data governance frameworks at enterprise scale
• Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills
• Experience producing formal architecture artifacts and presenting them to senior leadership
• Track record of leading architecture reviews and influencing engineering direction across teams
• Strong understanding of cost optimization, scalability, and resilience trade-offs

Preferred Qualifications

• TOGAF, AWS, Azure, or GCP architecture certifications
• Experience with large-scale ERP, CRM, or HCM transformation programs
• Exposure to regulated industries such as financial services, healthcare, or life sciences
• Familiarity with enterprise architecture tooling such as LeanIX, Ardoq, or Sparx EA
• Experience driving cloud governance, FinOps, and cost transparency initiatives

Pay

$100,000–$180,000 Annually
