About the role
The Montgomery Summit is March Capital's annual flagship technology conference, bringing together ~1,200 founders, investors, and corporate leaders. In its 24th year, it is one of the most influential gatherings in the technology industry and a central pillar of how March Capital builds and sustains its network.
Responsibilities
- Help shape who’s in the room at The Montgomery Summit, supporting the marketing and outreach strategy that drives attendance, revenue, and the right mix of founders, investors, and strategics.
- Manage a complex, multi-segment attendee pipeline from first touch through registration, balancing list hygiene and operational detail with a strategic eye for who moves the needle for March Capital and its portfolio.
- Support the VP of Platform & Marketing and Investment Partners in building, maintaining, and deepening the firm’s most important relationships year-round.
- Generate and maintain weekly reporting on registration, revenue, and campaign performance to track progress against goals.
- Research, test, and help deploy AI-powered workflows that improve how the team operates — from outreach automation to content generation to data pipelines.
- Analyze network data — demographics, engagement, conversion — to recommend targeted campaigns and create segmented materials across key attendee groups. Measure paid and organic campaign performance to help refine messaging and inform strategy.
- Hold responsibility for increasing engagement and follower count for March Capital & The Montgomery Summit social pages, e.g. manage LinkedIn Sales Navigator & LinkedIn’s ‘invite to follow’ processes.
Qualifications
- 2-4 years of experience in tech, startups, venture capital, or a related environment where resourcefulness and speed are table stakes.
- Background in one or more of: revenue operations, marketing, sales, analytics, communications & PR, social media & newsletter, community management, partnerships, or creative event production.
- A bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, data science, computer science, or a related field.
- Experience running marketing campaigns & analytics, and tracking conversions, reach, and engagement across platforms with a demonstrated ability to turn those insights into action.
- Advanced proficiency across Microsoft Office products; in particular Excel. Familiarity with email marketing (Mailchimp) and proficiency with design tools (Canva, Adobe Suite).
- Hands-on experience with Claude, ChatGPT and other AI platforms to make operations more efficient and effective, with a strong interest in building an AI-native operating unit.
