Responsibilities
- Proactively identify and assess platform integrity and abuse risks
- Design and develop solutions to priority risks
- Own their deployment and effectiveness in concert with a wide range of stakeholders
- Represent the team in cross-functional groups and in appropriate areas of expertise
- Establish yourself as an expert in 2+ relevant investigative techniques, technologies or abuse prevention strategies
- Reactively investigate potential issues such as scams, fraud, and illicit goods and activities
- Conduct periodic reviews to support legal and compliance obligations
- Execute with consideration for customer privacy, targeting activities of indisputable harm and avoiding overreach
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree and 6+ years of professional experience in global affairs, intelligence, or investigations; OR 12+ years of professional experience in global affairs, intelligence, or investigations in lieu of a degree
- 6+ years of experience with data querying languages (e.g., SQL), scripting languages (e.g., Python), geospatial tools (e.g., ArcGIS), and/or statistical software (e.g., R)
- 6+ years of experience investigating, mitigating, or dealing with illicit operators (e.g., fraud, abuse, cybersecurity, or other illicit activities)
- 3+ years owning and driving improvements in processes, technology, or other business areas to improve customer integrity or related capabilities
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or 12+ years of professional experience in global affairs, intelligence, or investigations
- 6+ years of experience with data querying languages, scripting languages, geospatial tools, and statistical software
- 6+ years of experience investigating, mitigating, or dealing with illicit operators
- 3+ years owning and driving improvements in processes, technology, or other business areas to improve customer integrity or related capabilities
