Platform DevOps Engineer

About the role

As a DevSecOps Engineer at Booz Allen, you'll leverage the latest architectural approaches and open-source frameworks to solve complex challenges for clients. You'll collaborate with your team to design, build, and maintain robust, scalable systems.

Responsibilities

• Use CI/CD tools like Gitlab CI or Argo CD to automate software delivery processes.
• Containerize C++, C, or C# applications using Docker, Kubernetes, or EKS.
• Write and maintain .gitlab-ci.yml files to configure multi-stage pipelines and integrate automated tests and security scans.
• Manage build artifacts and support reproducible builds across different environments.
• Collaborate with your team to code and deliver solutions that align with the current architecture and future enhancements.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience with CI/CD tools, including Gitlab CI or Argo CD.
• Experience with containerization, including Docker, Kubernetes, or EKS.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) such as Helm, Terraform, or Ansible.
• Ability to containerize C++, C, or C# applications.
• Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 1+ years of experience with software development, or 5+ years of experience with software development in lieu of a degree.
• Nice if you have experience with modern C++, C, C# development, front-end technologies, databases, cloud platforms, microservices, WebAssembly, RESTful APIs, and microservices architecture.
• Top Secret clearance preferred.

Skills

• Linux shell scripting and automation.
• Knowledge of relational databases (RDMS), NoSQL, columnar, and graph data stores and structured and unstructured data formats.

Pay

The estimated annual salary range for this position is $61,900.00 to $141,000.00 (annualized USD).

Schedule

Full-time and part-time employees working at least 20 hours a week on a regular basis are eligible to participate in Booz Allen’s benefit programs. Individuals that do not meet the threshold are only eligible for select offerings, not inclusive of health benefits.
