Plater 2 (3nd Shift)

About the Role

This position reports to the Department Supervisor and is located in Garden Grove, CA. It is a full-time, 2nd shift role in a manufacturing setting. The work environment includes shop conditions and can exceed 100 degrees Fahrenheit. This role requires access to knowledge and technical data regulated by the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), and applicants must meet ITAR requirements prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Process parts in tanks according to specifications, work order, and other requirements.
• Calculate the appropriate amount of time needed to process parts.
• Remove parts from tanks after specified time, rinse parts, and immerse them in bath before finishing processing.
• Complete paperwork as required by company and processing guidelines.
• Oversee and assist all line assistants to optimize throughput.
• Evaluate and log all preventative maintenance on processing line.
• Ensure all hazardous waste material is disposed of correctly.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
